Bulls latest streak not a good one
The Bulls' latest struggles can simply be summed up by Bulls forward Luo Deng : ''We're not gonna win games unless we play better 'D. "The offense is fine, we're scoring enough points, but we have to get some stops if we want to win.''
make no mistake, losing Joakim Noah for amonth makes a huge difference. Having Deng and rookie power forward Taj Gibson also banged up isn't helping either. But thats still no excuse for bad defense. In the past 2 games alone the Bulls have given up a total of 254 NBA points...which is astounding. That's Denver Nuggets 1991 bad. That's Golden State no defense-no bigmen bad. And while giving up 34 points to mysterious Dallas forward Rodrigue Beaubois may get a pass ( who knew he'd score 34 points!) getting rolled by the entire Utah Jazz squad is not acceptable. They had one kid (C.J.Miles) score 24 points in only 19 minutes. If I can see they need to get a hand out on the jump shooter from my seat high in the pressbox (where it's me, the United Center ceiling, and a Benny the Bull float) then you'd think the Bulls coaching staff would notice it from their seats on the floor. I guess I should never assume such things.
''I think we're giving up too much penetration,'' Bulls head coach Vinnie Del Negro said. ''We have to get everybody on the same page, keep the ball out of the middle as best we can. Really, a lot of it has been second-chance opportunities, getting beat on the glass. The teams we're playing are high-quality teams, and we're giving them second opportunities to run their offense and put pressure on us defensively. That's been hurting us a lot, too.''
And now comes the rub: the Bulls have now fallen into 9th place behind a solid Charlotte Bobcats ballclub (and new owner Michael Jordan) and a super-hot Milwaukee Bucks team with former Bulls coach Scott Skiles being a leading candidate for coach of the year. The Bulls have 2 more games with Charlotte, while only one meeting left with the Bucks, who have rookie point guard Brandon Jennings playing like a 10 year veteran, and center Andrew Bogut, who just may be the NBA's best player since the All-Star break.
And if you're expecting this losing streak to end soon, don't hold your breath. The Bulls are headed to Florida to face Orlando, who they do not match-up well with without Noah in the line-up. Dwight Howard creates enormous match-up problems. Next comes Miami, who the Bulls could sneak a win from, as the same with Memphis. Its their trip to Dallas (the league's best team since the All-Star break) and their return home game against Cleveland (the NBA's best team) which may cause some concern.
With injuries and losses piling up, the Bulls are going to need more than just defense to get back into the play-offs, they just my need a miracle.

The First Spectacular Tron Legacy Trailer

The first official trailer for Tron Legacy decided to pop up during this crazy viral marketing campaign. The campaign is much like 42 Entertainment's marketing for The Dark Knight. This trailer looks amazing and if you weren't excited for this film before than this will definitely reinforce your opinion towards a positive manner. The cinematography and visual effects are just eye candy. This for sure looks like a great sequel and could even get people out who don't even know what Tron is, just like what The Dark Knight did for Batman or J.J. Abrams did for Star Trek and make it a little more mainstream. yeh? Maybe. I think people will definitely check it out.
Tron Guy is definitely going to have to rethink his costume.

Spanking New Iron Man 2 Trailer #2!
The second full length trailer for the epic superhero franchise, Iron Man 2, has been released tonight after the Oscars. It sure is pretty spiffy and has tons of flashy explosions, girls, and hot new armors. Does this film still hold up to the gusto of the franchise or will it fall flat like Spider-man 3 did with all it’s characters? You decide. This trailer has a ton of new footage that helps link things together. It may give away almost too much, but it might have to if it wants to regain its fans and grab more attention to the not fanboys and girls out there. You can see Iron Man opening in conventional theaters and IMAX on May 7, the Jon Favreau-directed sequel stars Robert DowneyJr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Jon Favreau, Mickey Rourke, Sam Rockwell, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Garry Shandling, John Slattery, Kate Mara, Clark Gregg and Olivia Munn. Check out the second full length trailer in HD of Iron Man 2 after the jump!

Some Fun Academy Award Facts
Yeah… Sorry I haven't posted in awhile, but expect great things to come, like this post! Some people really like to make pie charts and graphs as these two cool Academy Award fact sheets have popped up on the Interwebs. One is from BusinessPundit (The Numbers Behind The Academy Awards) and it has some good facts about costs and other cool stuff and the other is from LocateTV blog (Everything You Wanted To Know About the Oscars), which has a lot of good information about the winners and other random facts. Both are pretty neato and you should definitely check them out after the jump other wise you’re just silly if you don’t Seriously though, these are some fun facts that most probably don’t know and are cool to read.
Girl Scout Are Not About Egos
I don't know about the rest of you, but March Madness does not mean thirty days of college rivalries to me.
