Here we Flo, here we Flo, here we Flo, again…
Peeps, what's our weakness?

EGGS! (and mimosas) If you too are like us, Eggbrunchmimosa lovers, Flo is for you! Flo is nestled in Noble Square and is little hidden gem with a Southwestern flare!

So the constant buzz around this place is that the huevos are some of the best you'll have… but given our esteemed reputation around Chicago-land as best in class food critics, we decided that we were too slanted at this point and went our own route! Nikki opted for a mimosa and the chilaquiles, which are corn tortilla pieces in roasted tomato and poblano salsa w/ scrambled eggs and red onion, topped w/ pico de gallo and cheddar cheese. They were also served w/ black beans and a warm tortilla. You can also spice it up with a little Tabasco and you're all set! I too ordered up a tasty mimosa and the flo frittata which is a pan browned scramble w/ diced grilled potatoes, onion, spinach and cheddar cheese. The dish was also served with black beans and roasted poblano sauce.

The sauce, we determined is the key ingredient to shake an evening of martinis the evening prior.

Speaking of which, Flo boasts some terrific beverages too, because if there's one thing you will learn from our column, it's what is brunch without mimosas? Aside from the mimosas, we had to sample some of their concoctions; they're strong and will definitely be the hair to your dog! Admittedly, there is one drawback to Flo, the wait. While prime hours can leave you napping for a solid 30 minutes, Intelligentsia coffee and daily newspapers are ready for you on the counter. All in all, Flo is a wonderful change of pace from the mainstream brunch.

So before we close, as you know, Nikki and I must provide our washroom review as well (because every date must have a good can). That being said all flowed well at the Flo potty which flushes out at a three spot.
