....let's put one in some shabby box in our house! a 10 Foot long Albino Python no less....Snakes don't cause problems. They only eat every coupla weeks. And they're so cool sitting there all coiled up in a box instead of stretching their 10-footness out and wrapping around a water buffalo like they're seemingly designed to do..
I had to sit down for a minute and actually think about this one...............really feel it.........figure out who would suffer this experience ( beyond the poor child who fell victim to the ignorance ).
A 2 year old girl was killed by a 10' (approx) foot Python when it crawled into the child's crib Wednsday in Sumter County, Florida some time during the middle of the night.!!!
Supposedly; the owner of the snake (or one of the owners) went on a stabbing spree when he saw the situation....but the snake recreated its history. Why it approached the child is inclear, but very tragic nonetheless.
Definition of Florida: A marshland of the oldest, slimiest, meanest creatures on earth still considered to be dinosaurs or monsters, ( Crocodiles and Alligators ), lizards and giant flying bugs, water moccassins ( snakes ), the occassional shark on the coast or beach with an arm hanging out of its mouth, and untold water-dwelling bugs like killer spiders and mosquitos. So like there aren't enough wild and scary animals roaming Florida freely, across the land and wandering into garages and patios., on porches and under couches.......let's get one and box it up in the middle of the wild!

And.......shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttt. We don't need no permit for this crazy-ass thing.......This is a cool-ass pet. I'm bad ass joker...........screw that pit-bull shit........I got me a python so and so......
To be fair.....I'm one of those people that feels when I make eye contact with another creature, be it mammal, animal, or lizard...that they understand I am a "you'll never dominate me" type. If I pet your scales,....somehow that you will feel my gentleness and your species will be healed.....I'll be the first to admit that I share a timid fascination and fear of snakes and tarantulas and cool things in books in the 70's that I used to buy...and those cool old-school documentaries about the wild.. or on trips to the zoos....but I simply never had the time to do it...or a solid reason, or the opportunity truth be told.
I always felt bad for them just curling up, whether that's what they do or not in their holes wherever they end up dwelling, to stare at me bouncing off my rooms walls, just making it mad......giving it a reason to be a snake.......ssssssssssssssssssss........to just want to bite me because I move too much.........sssssssssssssssssss.... or that my moving energy is passing through its glands, but it can't respond effectively, thus preserving its tenacity!!
Put it this way... and I'm sure the Judges in that country hearing are just licking their chops...
...There's no excuse for having a 10 foot python in a house with a small child...especially without a permit and properly secured and humane living environment...unless you keep your diamonds in the same box the snake is in and live in diamond heist alley!
Just had to rant about this for a minute! I know they must kill to eat....but some guy's girlfriend's 2 year old.....? And I'll bet that it was all in the house of the child's grandmother.
Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitttttttttttttttt........ Maybe the snake was tired of hearing the baby cry all the time! Go figure!
